This Premium Lasered Leatherette Earth Tones Collection has a textured look and has HEAT ACTIVATED ADHESIVE for exceptional durability and bonding strength. This high-quality heat activated adhesive is a non-tacky film that activates quickly under heat for a permanent bond, ensuring confidence in all your customized projects.These leatherette sheets are available in a variety of beautiful earthy tones that will elevate your projects.

This lasered leatherette collection is thicker than our other leatherette at 1/16” (or 1.57mm thick). We have starting point laser settings listed below.

Care Instructions:

To clean laserable leatherette items use LA Awesome cleaner or a neutral soap with water. It will not leave any water spots. Alcohol works well on pen marks. Leatherette does not absorb finger oil.

Colours of leatherette may not be as exactly shown due to screen variations.

LEATHERETTE INSTRUCTIONS:

These below settings are just a baseline, everyone's equipment will be different, so we recommend testing a small piece of leatherette first to find your machines optimal settings before applying leatherette to your finished product.

Premium Leatherette Settings - Colour/Black

Starting points are based on Epilogs and 80W Trotec

Raster Engraving:

35W 65%S 50%P 600DPI

60W 80%S 35%P 600DPI

80W Trotec 85%S 30%P 500DPI

120W 90%S 25%P 400DPI

Excessive Residue Tips:

*Try turning off your air assist

*Try increasing your speed

*Try lowering your power

Extra Tips:

*Don’t go too slow and try a lower frequency(hz) as this will help decrease flaming

*Any remaining soot can be wiped clean with a microfiber cloth & LA Awesome cleaner

*Use a Sekalma mat or magnets to help hold your sheet down flat

*It's recommended to raster all designs first & then go back and cut out shapes

The above settings should be used as a starting point as machines can differ and are expressed in percentages, not millimetres, as some laser settings are.

HEAT SETTINGS TO APPLY:

280 degrees top and bottom
7 second prepress of hat
35-40 Seconds with 6 pressure
1/8" Foam
Let cool for 15+ minutes

SINGLE PLATE HAT PRESS
Temperature: 300 degrees
Pressure: medium
Time: 30 seconds
Place a paper towel on top of the patch when heat pressing to the substrate

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
1. Focus right on the leatherette
2. Cleaning should not be necessary with leatherette products. However can use a small amount of LA Awesome on a microfibre cloth.
3. Use a Seklama Mat to hold down sheet.
